About Vishal Ranjan

Apart from getting a PhD in International Relations, I have a multi-platform and multi-discipline content experience. My current assignment at a public relations firm involves strategizing content including ideation, writing authored and feature articles for business and industry leaders published in leading print and online media, besides writing press releases and industry story quotes. Earlier, I was with a political think tank where my role entailed countering political narratives through daily writings and producing research on election and other political issues. Before this, I delivered white papers and articles for a technology-based primary research and data analytics company. At a government TV channel as Senior Researcher, I supplied research inputs for news programmes and wrote an article for channel's website. Before this, I was in Research and Product Marketing division of a Mobile VAS company where my role involved writing researched white papers and articles, preparing regional market presentations and reviewing product collaterals. Then as a Development Editor with a publishing house, I handled the Handbook Project which involved conceptualizing, designing & preparation of the initial content outline. In International Relations, I have written peer-reviewed articles for top think tanks and have been cited by global experts. I have also written articles for national and international news media. Most recently, I have compleetd a course on Digital Marketing from Simplilearn-Purdue University.
