An Achievement-Oriented Finance Leader, I bring hands-on experience in different aspects of finance such as International Financial reporting, USGAAP, Record to Report, Technical Accounting, Statutory audit, International taxation, Transfer pricing, Corporate Laws, Internal Financial Controls, Regulatory and Compliance mechanism. My forte lies in ensuring USGAAP/IFRS & SEC compliance, building and directing high-performing teams, owning R2R process, working with international teams and serving as the India compliance leader. Key Achievements: 1. Set up the accounting and statutory reporting teams in India for Snowflake from scratch by taking transition from external service providers (internationally) and counterparts in US. This involved dealing with ambiguity, going from 0 to 1, developing robust plans and scalable solutions, hiring the right talent and cross functional expectation setting. Managed to save ~$ 565k annually due to this project. Led the project on enablement of dual ledger currency accounting in Workday to host statutory books. The first customer of Workday to Go-live with this. Estimated savings of > hours annually. Transformational mindset - Brainstormed and led various projects on building efficiencies and automation in R2R domain. Dealt with various finance systems - Workday, ServiceNow, Snowhouse, APIs, Salesforce, Office Connect etc 4. One of the youngest managers in KPMG India at my time. Currently, I work as Director of Accounting and Reporting at Snowflake where I have the ownership of the overall USGAAP accounting and international financial reporting process including maintaining the books of accounts under USGAAP/IFRS/local laws, ownership of financial statements for Snowflake international entities, assisting in Technical accounting and SEC Reporting, planning and execution of audits, international tax compliance and other corporate compliances. Before Snowflake, I worked at Juniper Networks for 3+ years as an Finance Manager driving financial reporting, GL operations, statutory audits and international taxes for 16+ group entities in India/APJ. Prior to Juniper Networks, I have done statutory audits, tax audits, limited reviews and internal control reporting (IFCR/SOX) for various conglomerates in KPMG India across its Bangalore, Dubai and Kolkata offices for 7+ years.
