About Vishesh Dewan

Working as a Patent Attorney/ Analyst with Reconnaissance Consultancy, a privately held Intellectual Property Consulting firm and with R. K. Dewan and Co. Qualified Patent Agent in India. Was software Dev in SG before covid. Leaving the rest for a bit of background and past history, c'est An Intp 5w4. I consider my most valuable attributes to be my autodidactic proclivity, strong analytical skills and a passionate curiosity that drives me to constantly learn and improve my knowledge base. I particularly relish design oriented project work given that I tend to be detail oriented, intuitively comfortable with the reiterative troubleshooting process that goes into doing projects and have an easy going communicative style that helps me to collaborate with people effectively. Academically I have a background of (in descending order of familiarity) embedded systems (particularly RTOS rather than architecture), communications and information theory, computer networks, and signal processing. At work, I've built RESTful web apis using.Net Core that interface with backend DBs and telecom services (fax, phone, sms) and built software focusing on API connectivity between telecom related legacy software services. At Hewlett Packard, I've built enterprise desktop tooling software using WPF. Outside of work, I'm focusing on building side projects using python and JavaScript libraries, and learning about architectures such as micro-services, design patterns, algorithms and data structures in general. While I once aspired to be a software Architect or consultant, I'm happy to dabble in software on a more casual basis for now while I make forays in the IPR industry. Got some really interesting modern takes on spiritual philosophers of the past (up until Kierkegaard) via some in the present.
