I have a wide range of experiences from hardware testing, CAE analysis, vendor development, Design for Six Sigma, digitization of processes, mentoring, construction of advanced-level testing infrastructure like anechoic chamber, building an effective team, and establishing techniques for product & process development. In all the companies I have worked for, hardware testing has been the key component of my career; be it engine & chassis dynamometer testing, vehicle endurance & emission testing, engine calibration testing, product developmental testing, & audible noise/vibration testing. At Maruti Udyog, I handled vendor development activity, for critical engine components, such as hoses and bolts, ensuring adherence to the design specifications not only at the initial stage but also during delivery of parts to the production line. At General Motors (GM), I was leading the Center of Excellence (COE) on Statistical Method for Engine & Transmission Calibration Procedure Development. At the same time, I was instrumental in inculcating the DFSS culture within the various functions of GM such as Design, Application Engineering, Controls, and Calibration, by mentoring projects and providing support in developing new coaches in their functions as well. I was the first person in GM India to be certified with DFSS Master Black Belt. Currently at Havells, I am focusing on building an effective team to deploy DFSS philosophy/reliability engineering/simulation/processes/NVH with the aim of streamlining the new product development as well as developing innovative products for the company. I believe that my academic preparation has always helped me give my best to the work I have done in the past or am currently doing. I hold a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering where I specialized in math-based model development for analysis of complex systems. Strengths: 1. Strong analytical systems thinker 2.
