A self-motivated individual, passionate educator, and effective administrator. I have a progressive and enthusiastic personality with a flair for mentoring and counseling. As a leader, my vision is to impart holistic education and create an impact on today's generation. Having served in the education sector for two decades. I have developed a proficiency in International Curricula (IB/IGCSE), Administration, and operation of schools. I have the ability to have the vision to plan the way ahead and to get things done. I am able to lead a team and get the best out of staff. I have a proven record as a teacher and administrator whose students reach high standards of learning and achievement. I am able to enthuse, motivate and discipline not only the students but also the staff members. I have been trained as School Leader/ Administrator from IIM- Ahmadabad; Harvard University; Head of School (DP and MYP); IBDP coordinator (L1 & L2); IBDP Faculty (Biology and Environment; L1, L2, & L3), MYP Science Faculty, University Counselor and Asst Examiner (HL Biology) by the IBO. In addition, I acted as a member of the World Bank's Convention on Biodiversity project, a researcher in the Germplasm Conservation Division, explored and stored Genetic Materials in the National Gene Bank. I successfully executed ecological field surveys, conducted research trials, analyzed research data, and compiled research reports. I have also supervised and monitored the work of the researchers. At MLSI, my role was to set up a secondary school system and policies and to get the school authorized for both MYP and DP. In the last more than five years, I took the lead in creating good culture, and with the help and support of the teachers; we have been able to produce good results for MYP (e-Assessments) and DP. We have been able to place the students in reputed universities abroad (some with scholarships) At RBK Group of Institutions, my role was to raise standards of education in schools through a wide range of strategies including securing an appropriate and effective subject curriculum, promoting the use of teaching and learning processes that will enable students to achieve their full potential, setting teachers/students challenging targets and then monitoring the performance of staff to ensure those targets are met.
