About Vitanny Chan

I am Vitanny Chan, a fourth year Kinesiology student at Western University with a strong interest in sports, fitness, and healthcare. With various experiences volunteering at physiotherapy clinics and shadowing strength and conditioning coaches, I bring a solid mix of practical experience and academic knowledge to my work. I have been actively involved in sports throughout middle and high school, and have continued that at university by participating in intramural basketball and volleyball teams. I am also an active member of the Ski and Snowboard Club, where I enjoy snowboarding and meeting like-minded individuals. In addition to my sports involvement, I was previously a competitive powerlifter and have competed in two powerlifting meets. Currently, I am focusing on improving my fitness and overall health by going to the gym regularly and applying principles I've learned throughout my fitness journey. Alongside my studies, I am an ambassador for the Fitness Collective Social Club, where I help promote wellness events, including a recent Spikeball tournament, and engage with peers through social media and event outreach. I’m excited to integrate my diverse skills into future opportunities. I am particularly interested in pursuing a career in strength and conditioning, where I can further develop my expertise and contribute to the success of athletes, especially in sports such as rugby, hockey, basketball, and volleyball.
