About Vitor Albuquerque

I am a Computer Engineer with a degree from the University of São Paulo (USP), currently pursuing a Master's in Artificial Intelligence (Intelligent Systems) at UNIFESP in São José dos Campos. My journey into technology started early, programming at the age of 14 during my time at the Technical Industrial School of Guaratinguetá. This early exposure to algorithms and practical applications laid a solid foundation for my technical fluency.Throughout my career, I have embraced various roles and challenges, from developing decentralized energy systems using Blockchain to leading teams in the telecom sector. My current role involves backend development with Java and Springboot, and I have also gained extensive experience in Python, particularly with AI/ML libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Scikit-learn.As a Team Leader, I successfully turned around a high-bug project, implementing a rapid problem-resolution framework that was adopted across the organization. I also spearheaded the development of a robust functional testing pipeline, enhancing the quality and reliability of our products. My passion for AI has recently been reignited, leading me to actively engage in projects involving Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and frameworks like LangChain. By leveraging these cutting-edge technologies, I aim to bring innovative and practical solutions to the table.I excel in bridging the gap between technical and administrative domains, leveraging my strong communication skills to adapt my message to diverse audiences. With a diverse engineering background and a renewed focus on AI, I am dedicated to contributing to innovative AI projects and continuously improving in this dynamic field.
