About Vitor Ciampolini
As a young Brazilian growing up in a countryside city of São Paulo State, I was always passionate about sports, which led me to practice soccer (of course), basketball, tennis, surfing, volleyball, swimming, table tennis, among others. When I got older, I realized that studying Physical Education was the right path for me to stay connected with my passionate childhood memories. During my undergraduate, master's, and PhD studies at the Federal University of Santa Catarina, I was fortunate enough to be awarded three international mobility program scholarships. During my undergrad, I studied for a year at SUNY Oswego and Syracuse University, in the USA. During my master's and PhD, I studied for another year at the University of Ottawa, in Canada. Since 2018, I have been bridging the gap between research and practice. At Très Bon Point, I have been leading training and consultancy projects with my colleagues to support the development of the Québecois sport community. Besides, my previous experiences working as a youth basketball coach helped me realize that helping young athletes develop their life skills is one of the things that drives me the most!
