About Vitor Navarro

I'm a Computer Scientist building software that impacts people lives currently at BairesDev allocated for Pinterest. My days are spent on learning, coding, documenting, reviewing and planning for better software a bit per bit. My passion for technology comes from a very early stage in my life, like many of us through video games and the very first PCs, when in college I found out that making software to improve peoples lives be it through entertainment or any other sort of improvement was my professional goal and highly gratifying. My career has been built on quality since 2007 with a path that took me challenge after challenge from desktop and web to mobile apps, including game development. Worth mentioning that I had the amazing opportunity to lecture in workshops, events and post grad course in university which shows my appreciation for learning and giving back to the community. Last but least I'd like to share some of the achievements so far:* 1st prize on FirefoxOS Game Hackathon (with my friend and artist Rogerio Rennó @rogerrenno);* Being interviewed by Forbes Insider as one of 9 black innovators in 2020;* Working for SYBO owner of the huge runner featured multiple times on apps stores and one of the biggestmobile games of all times Subway Surfers;* Working for Wildlife Studios one of the biggest game dev companies in Brazil and competing internationally;* Working on multiple huge apps with native iOS/Android in more than a decade, big brazilian e-commerces (Extra, Pão de açúcar, Casas Bahia, Ponto Frio), Starbucks windows phone app, Veja magazine, Nextel Telecom, SubwaySurfers, Blades of Brim, Pinterest, Color By Number, Olivia AI (bought by Nubank);
