About Vivek Modi

With a Master of Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Windsor and multiple certifications in product design and manufacturing, I have developed a strong expertise in mechanical design and project management in the Canadian manufacturing industry. As a Mechanical Designer-Estimator at Fil-Trek Corporation, I was responsible for designing and estimating custom filtration systems for various industrial applications, using SolidWorks, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office. I worked with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the quality, accuracy, and feasibility of the designs, as well as the compliance with the customer specifications and industry standards. I also contributed to the improvement of the design processes and procedures, and supported the sales and production teams with technical guidance and documentation. In my previous roles at Flamboro Technical Services and Paul Boers Manufacturing, I gained valuable experience in designing and estimating mechanical and structural components for greenhouse and ventilation systems, using 3D modeling, drafting, and simulation tools.
