I am currently an EUC Engineer at VMware, a global leader in cloud computing and virtualization. With a Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical Engineering from Savitribai Phule Pune University, I’ve built a strong foundation in engineering principles and problem-solving, which enables me to deliver innovative, high-quality solutions that meet the complex needs of VMware's customers and partners. In my role, I specialize in the administration of VMware's Desktop as a Service (DaaS) and End-User Computing (EUC) Horizon—a Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) solution deployed both on-premises (via VMware vCenter) and in the cloud (across platforms like Azure and AWS). I work with VMware partners and customer on debugging their issues spanning various components, including Horizon Protocol, Network architecture, on prem / cloud networking, Active Directory, Windows agent/client machines, Linux desktop pools, load balancers, Unified Access Gateway, SQL databases, vSphere, and vCenter. Prior to joining VMware, I worked as an Escalation Engineer at Microsoft EPS, where I was trained by Microsoft Full-Time Employees on troubleshooting and resolving complex Windows performance issues, including high CPU utilization, memory leaks, boot errors, BSODs, and disk slowness on Windows servers and client systems. I leveraged Microsoft Sysinternals and public tools like Task Manager, PerfMon, and Windows Performance Analyzer to address and resolve numerous critical cases. My ability to navigate challenging customer interactions, de-escalate intense situations, and build rapport was further enhanced through certifications obtained via LinkedIn Learning. I am passionate about continuously expanding my knowledge and skills, particularly in cloud computing and DevOps. Recently, I completed a Postgraduate Program in "Cloud Computing and DevOps" from Great Learning, which provided me with a holistic understanding of cloud infrastructure, architecture, development, and operations. This program deepened my expertise in cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure, and familiarized me with DevOps tools including Jenkins, Maven, GitHub, AWS CodePipeline, AWS CloudFormation, and other essential DevOps solutions. I am driven by the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology and an innovative team, and I’m always eager to embrace new challenges that push the boundaries of what’s possible in the cloud and EUC space.
