Accomplished Meteorologist specializing in Aviation Forecasting, currently contributing expertise to the Australian Bureau of Meteorology. Over two decades of experience within various sectors of the Bureau, with a strong focus on public weather, aviation, and marine forecasting. Proficient in delivering critical operational aviation weather products, including but not limited to Terminal Forecast (TAF), Graphical Area Forecast (GAF), Aerodrome Warning, SIGMET, AIRMET, SIGWX charts, QNH, Volcanic Ash Advisories, and Space Weather Advisories. Notable Experience: Defence Meteorological Support Unit (DMSU), Bureau of Meteorology, Canberra (May 2018 - Jan 2019): Led global weather forecasting for the Australian Defence Forces. Melbourne Aviation Center (MAC)(2019-2021), Bureau National Operations Center (BNOC)(2006-2019), and Darwin Regional Forecasting Center (RFC)(2002-2006): Spearheaded the preparation and issuance of critical aviation and marine products, showcasing adeptness in utilizing diverse weather forecast models and interpreting satellite and ground observations.
