About Vivian Hui

My parents have taught me the value of a dollar from an early age. They had a pay-per-chore system and would give me rewards when investing or saving a specific percentage of this pocket money. Later on, they showed me how to diversify my investments to decrease the risk involved or how they’d say: “ ”. This led me to pursue my passion for learning about Banking, Finance and Economics by completing my Bachelor of Business and Commerce in Malaysia followed by my Bachelor of Business, specialising in Banking and Finance, Economics and Business Strategy at Monash University.I also got the opportunity to serve in various Leadership and mentoring opportunities within the community which helped me to understand the importance of teamwork, critical thinking, analytical skills, time management and to effectively collaborate within cross-cultural environments: As a Business & Finance Administrator, I assisted in processing payments in the financial system and introduced automated follow-ups to improve collection time by 12%.Partnered with the IT team to implement integrations on the financial management system, improving process efficiency by 15%.Promoted to Orientation Team Executive within 6 months at Campbell Hall Society, in recognition for my outstanding performance on successful event completion and 30% increase in engagement.I get excited to hear about opportunities in the fields including but limited to Financial analyst, Business consulting, and management where I can contribute through my forward-thinking ability as well as learn and grow as a professional.
