About Vivian Manasc

Vivian Manasc is Reimagine's co-founding Architect and a Canadian leader in sustainable design. She is a member of the Alberta Order of Excellence, past Chair of the Board of Governors of Athabasca University, Past President and Fellow of the Royal Architectural Institute of Canada, a founding Director of the Canada Green Building Council, a founding member of the Sustainable Buildings Symposium, She is the author of two books, Agora Borealis, engaging in sustainable architecture, and Old Stories New Ways: Architecture informed by Indigenous ways of knowing,(available on Amazon) and a frequent speaker on creative collaboration and sustainable design across Canada and internationally. Vivian has led the design teams for many outstanding new and reimagined sustainable buildings with First Nations and Métis and Inuit communities, public and corporate sector owners, facilitating an integrated sustainable design process.
