About Vlad Tomko

Experienced IT Operations Manager with a proven record of driving technology transformations that align IT initiatives with business goals. With over 6 years in IT management, I specialize in optimizing infrastructure, leading cloud migrations, and implementing ITIL best practices to streamline operations and enhance efficiency. My expertise spans both cloud and on-premises environments, with hands-on experience in platforms like AWS, Hetzner Cloud, and virtualization solutions such as VMware ESXi/vSphere and Hyper-V. Throughout my career, I have led teams in transitioning from on-premises systems to cloud and SaaS solutions, managing infrastructure across global offices. By standardizing systems and automating processes, I’ve reduced complexity, minimized costs, and improved scalability. I have practical knowledge of Windows Server environments, directory services, and SaaS platforms like Microsoft 365 (Teams, SharePoint, Exchange), Google Workspace, Atlassian (Jira, Confluence, and other tools), among others. I’m dedicated to building collaborative, high-performing teams (and these aren’t just words - I’ve built and led these teams in real life). I foster a culture of continuous improvement and have a value-driven approach to IT management, where simplifying infrastructure and leveraging strategic tools enable teams to deliver impactful results with fewer resources.
