About Vlastimil Bartas

I am an experienced industrial designer with a diverse portfolio ranging from large-scale industrial projects, such as train locomotives, to intricate and refined works like jewelry design. I combine technical precision with creative solutions, always striving to bring innovative approaches to every project I undertake. In addition to my design work, I am also a university lecturer, where I share my knowledge and experience with the next generation of designers. I serve not only as an educator but also as a mentor, capable of inspiring and motivating students to achieve their best. This role has allowed me to build strong relationships with my students, who regularly receive awards in competitions and successfully embark on their professional journeys. I have extensive experience in project management as well. I led and was responsible for a project funded by the Technology Agency of the Czech Republic which focused on innovative solutions in industrial design. This project allowed me to further develop my managerial skills and demonstrate my ability to lead a team to achieve ambitious goals under challenging conditions. Jsem zkušený průmyslový designér s rozsáhlým portfoliem projektů, které sahají od návrhu velkých průmyslových objektů, jako jsou vlakové lokomotivy, až po detailní a sofistikované práce, jako jsou šperky. Spojuji technickou preciznost s kreativními řešeními a vždy se snažím přinášet inovativní přístup do každého projektu, na kterém pracuji. Kromě své designérské práce se věnuji i výuce na vysoké škole, kde sdílím své znalosti a zkušenosti s budoucími generacemi designérů. Působím nejen jako pedagog, ale také jako mentor, který umí inspirovat a motivovat studenty k dosahování jejich nejlepších výsledků. Díky tomu jsem vybudoval silné vztahy se svými studenty, kteří pravidelně získávají ocenění v soutěžích a úspěšně vstupují do profesní dráhy. Mám také bohaté zkušenosti s vedením projektů. Vedl jsem a odpovídal za projekt financovaný TAČR který se zaměřoval na inovativní řešení v oblasti průmyslového designu.
