About Vojtech Mencl

I’m a technical leader with a background that spans both cloud engineering and team leadership. Over the course of my career, I’ve moved from hands-on engineering roles to leading teams and eventually overseeing cloud engineering. That path has given me a mix of deep technical knowledge and practical leadership experience that I bring to every role. I began in development and integration, which gave me a strong foundation in how systems are built and how technology works together. Later, working in configuration management taught me the value of process, governance, and efficiency. From there I moved into cloud engineering, where I not only tackled complex technical problems but also developed deep expertise in cloud security, learning firsthand how intricate and critical it is to modern systems. I became a go-to expert in this area while continuing to help teams navigate large-scale transformations. Those experiences naturally led me into leadership positions, where I focused on shaping strategy, driving innovation, and enabling teams to deliver at scale. What I bring to the table is the ability to operate in both worlds: I can still architect solutions and improve processes, but I’m equally invested in developing people, creating clarity, and keeping projects moving forward. I do my best work in environments that are complex, fast-changing, and open to new ways of doing things. My leadership style is methodical and analytical, but also creative when it comes to solving problems. I lead with purpose, put people at the center, and aim to leave a lasting impact. Looking ahead, I’m interested in opportunities where I can continue to shape cloud strategy, guide digital transformations, and build new capabilities. I want to keep making a difference at the intersection of technology and leadership.
