About Volker Kuhlmann

Project manager with 3+ years experience in plant construction for automated manufacturing and 8+ years experience in management of software projects and algorithm development in the optics manufacturing industry. It's fascinating to follow how fast the technology is changing our life and I am proud to help shape the future by developing new products for Zeiss. As a good project manager, I make it my mission to connect the team with the big picture to achieve current project goals. As a scientist, I am still attached to the technological challenges along the way. After work, I try to spend as much time as possible with my family, teaching my son piano and gardening. The rest of the time, I love traveling, landscape and portrait photography and I often find myself playing around with ML-toolboxes to learn more about this field with its mind-boggling applications.
