About Vonda Seeliger

Vonda Seeliger has twenty-five years of visual arts teaching experience from kindergarten through Art level 4. Ms. Seeliger earned her Master’s Degree in Education Administration from Concordia University Texas, her BFA from The University of Houston, and went through the Visual Arts Studies program at The University of Texas at Austin. She obtained an All-level Certification in Visual Arts from the State of Texas. Vonda completed Leadership in the Visual Arts training through the Texas Art Education Association. She has acted as a mentor teacher for student teachers and coached new art teachers who came to the district. Vonda has been active in vertical and horizontal PLCs and has written curriculum for elementary, middle school, and high school art classes and contributed to a shared Google folder. In addition, Vonda sat on several committees such as the Student Leadership Committee, PBIS Committee, the Cultural Committee, Red Ribbon Week, and others. Finally, Vonda has sponsored art club, taught art to students in the after school program, and has had students win competitions at the district, region and state levels.
