Wade Canter, JD, LLM, CMCPS serves as the Chief Financial Officer and Certified Medical Cost Projection Specialist for Empirical Planners, LLC. Empirical Planners is a consulting practice providing evidence-based Life Care Plans, Vocational Evaluations, Medical Cost Projections, and strategic consulting in the context of litigation involving matters such as spinal cord injury, traumatic brain injury, birth injury, cerebral palsy, amputations, orthopedic injuries, end-stage renal disease, stroke, and other complex medical issues. Our multi-disciplinary team includes professionals in such fields as law, pediatrics, physical medicine and rehabilitation, prosthetics, physical therapy, health policy, epidemiology, and data analysis. Prior to his role at Empirical Planners, Wade Canter was a Senior Managing Director of The KLS Group at Silicon Valley Bank. He has over 20 years of experience in investments, as well as wealth and tax planning. Prior to joining KLS, Mr. Canter was an advisor at J.P. Morgan Private Bank and Bernstein Global Wealth Management. Before then, he served as an investment banker at Barclays Capital, Wachovia Securities, and Citi. Mr. Canter received an A.B. from Duke University, a J.D. with a concentration in Taxation from the University of California Hastings College of the Law, and an LL.M. in Taxation from the New York University School of Law.
