About Wade Howell

Wade Howell is an experienced Investigator with a demonstrated history of working in Law Enforcement, Medical administration, and conducting workplace investigations. Skilled in Investigations, Safeguarding, Emergency Management, Risk Management and Crisis Management, Security & Risk Assessments, Leadership, Wade has a unique and varied skill set. Commencing with The Australian Federal Police in 2006, Wade led and conducted investigations of different crime types including; serious and organised crime, gang crime, financial crime, fraud, drugs, homicides and sexual servitude. Since leaving the AFP, Wade has gained experience within the transport industry managing large contracts in the construction industry and in the public hospital sector managing human resources for their surgical departments. Currently, Wade is an investigator with the Victorian Aboriginal Child Care Agency (VACCA) conducting sensitive investigations relating to critical incidents involving staff, carers and children in care. Wade’s career has been built on his ongoing commitment to education. A graduate of Edith Cowan University (Bachelor of Science focused on Security and Justice) and an Advanced Diploma of Investigations. Wade has completed a long list of specialty courses in Security and Law Enforcement. Wade is currently completing a specialist course for interviewing children conducted by Deakin University’s Centre for Investigative Interviewing. Wade has strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively communicate with key stakeholders and influence decision makers. Wade had extensive experience as a liaison officer and in capacity building to cultivate successful relationships and enrich professional and organisational networks.
