Maintenance Program Manager • Led as a shop level production supervisor and effectively coordinated the efforts of all nuclear repair test equipment and freeze seal operations with other shops at the facility as well as with outside entities. • As a Senior member of electrical division and a exceptional program manager I was directly responsible for the successful overhaul and changeout to a new type of the ships battery, and the seamless transition from the MIQ program to MCMS for shipboard calibration equipment. • Planned multiple quarters of both periodic and emergent maintenance for an electrical and mechanical division with over 200 maintenance PMs per quarter. Maintenance Supervisor and Personnel Mentor • While showing exceptional leadership skills in a supervisory position I was responsible for 13 sailors and three civilians during the conduct of over man-hours of nuclear test equipment assembly, testing and installation on nine nuclear ballistic missile submarines. In this role I qualified Production Supervisor, Radiological Control Supervisor, filling a critical role in a civilian manning shortfall. • As the Electrical Division Leading Petty Officer, I continuously mentored and trained 15 members of electrical division and 60 members of engineering department leading to the successful completion of the ships PORSE, EDRSA, and Sea trials. Technical and Quality Assurance Expert • Delivered first-time success on maintenance and repair operations to mechanical and electrical reactor plant and propulsion plant systems that enable the continued operations of a fast attack nuclear submarine. • Due to my superior abilities in administration and leadership I was selected to lead an out of rate QA/Special operations forces division. In this role I was directly responsible for the writing, supervision, and performance of over 50 SOC QA packages for divers related systems on board a fast attack submarine. • Analyzed and developed operating procedures for various electrical systems after troubleshooting the cause and taking corrective action.
