About Wade Thompson

Award-Winning Registered Graphic Designer, and Illustrator, based out of Toronto with an affinity for clean lines and simple colour schemes. With a background that has spanned over a decade, I have run the gamut of design related projects, both in-house and in a freelance capacity; from athletic logos, to annual reports, to museum exhibits, to motion infographics, my career has taken me across the design spectrum. Having experience running a visuals department, as well as working as a team of one, I pride myself on my versatility to step into any situation and find the right solution for a client’s needs. I enjoy connecting with creative people and making sure the design process is understood on both the front and back end. When I’m not sitting at a laptop or a sketchbook, I can often be found catching up on the latest Oscar-season movies, or binging episodes of Taskmaster for the eleventh time. Either that or I’m cheering on the Leafs as they inevitably get my hopes up for a 30th consecutive season. A fun fact about me would be that Tony Kornheiser of ESPN once dubbed me “Predictions Boy” on an episode of Pardon the Interruption.
