About Wael Abubaker

As a regional HR leader, I oversee HR strategy and operations for the diverse and dynamic region of Middle East & Africa. I have managed 14 countries in the region with over employees.With over 15 years of HR management experience with multinationals across the Middle East, I have developed a strong expertise in HR best practices across the different HR areas, including employee relations, total rewards, and talent management. I have also demonstrated my ability to manage teams and partner with senior leaders in different industries, such as healthcare, FMCG, and technology. I am passionate about building an engaging and inclusive culture, developing and retaining talent, and supporting the growth and transformation of the business. I hold an MSc degree in Human Resource Management from the London School of Economics and Political Science, and I am an Associate Member of the CIPD.
