About Wafa Abusamra

Dr. Wafa abu Samra Has a PHD degree in Finance, and has more than 15 years experience in project management and development Field. she is a highly active person on the field of project management, development and acquiring different experiences and knowledge in the field of development projects financed by donors, as well as other strategic, financial and restructuring projects. According to her analytical and managerial strengths she participates in several projects and training programmers in the MENA regions. She started work as a member of faculty then joined to the Cities and Villages development Bank (CVDB), where she has managed different projects financed by donors targeting Jordanian municipalities and working with local communities in order to enhance citizen livelihood. According to her professionalism in doing businesses, Dr wafa assigned to mange restructuring project for CVDB where different aspects of this bank should be revised and developed namely, strategic plan, internal process, HR, Organizational structure, law and governance of CVDB. And currently design and mange the Innovation Fund manual for municipalities and other project in Energy efficiency Funded by EIB. As well as she is currently the project manager for accreditation program to Green Climate Fund in Jordan. Also wafa abu samra working alongside in providing training and coaching programmed and consultation in different Fields mainly, procurement, financial, accounting, contract management, gender, and Inniovation projects. And has different published article and books. In addition Dr Wafa abu Samra start working with Prince Hussein Technical University as an Instructor for Quantity Serving High Diploma Degree teaching Economic, Accounting and Financial. Wafa abu Samra belives in the importance of woman participation in the economic and political process and working voluntary with different local NGOs and municipalities to improve the woman participation and effective role. She is a member of Jordan forum for business & professional women associations. And she is co founder of Woman in Board- Jordan.
