I have 12 years of experience in the field of accounting,auditing and finance, with a strong background in financial statements,financial reporting,taxation,external audit and risk management. I am currently working as a Financial consultant and provide strategic level advice to clients to help them shape the future. As a Financial Controller at EXIM Bank of Pakistan Limited, I was responsible for the entire accounting and external financial reporting functions, including compliance with the State Bank of Pakistan and other regulatory requirements. I also supervised the treasury back office for the accounting-related issues and lead the overall Finance and Accounting function. I started my career at KPMG, where I spent more than four years working on various audit engagements for clients in different sectors, such as manufacturing, construction, IT, power, aviation, and banking. I gained valuable exposure to international standards on auditing, financial reporting, and best practices in finance and operations. I then joined LEA Global / Leading Edge Alliance as a Manager Audit and Assurance, where I managed multi-location audit assignments, assisted and supported clients in meeting their regulatory and contractual obligations, and advised and recommended clients on the best practices in finance and operations.
