About Walid Akkari

Walid Akkari is a Senior account manager and application specialist for Chemical and Digital Solutions applied to water, wastewater and bio- resources at Kemira, a global leader in water and environmental Chemical products & Solutions. He has more than 13 years of experience in environmental engineering and project management, and holds a Project Management Professional Certification (PMP®). He specializes in implementing, and optimizing water & wastewater treatment plants using advanced technologies such as reverse osmosis and membrane bioreactors. He has successfully delivered 21 large-scale projects across six countries, serving clients from various sectors and cultures. He has also received a prize from the Algerian Minister of Renewable Energy for his contribution to the circular economy and environmental protection. Walid is an adaptable and data-driven professional who uses Microsoft Visio to create plant processes, and analyzes performance insights to forecast and solve technical issues. He is passionate about providing guidance and constant support to his clients, through field missions and online meetings, and developing training programs and workshops. He speaks three languages: Arabic, French and English.
