About Walid Elsharkawy

Starting in 1990, Walid worked for 14 years for Commercial International bank CIB, the leading private sector bank in Egypt. At CIB Walid was heading the Credit Assessment Department and was a Credit Committee Member. After a successful apprenticeship at KPMG Germany in Frankfurt in 2006, he started working for five years for Commerzbank AG Frankfurt am Main in the Credit Department as a Senior Credit Officer responsible for international credit relationships in 2007. n 2012, Walid moved to the bank’s internal consultancy dvision introducing and applying the tools of Lean Management and Six Sigma as part of the bank wide Excellence Initiative. Starting March 2015 until March 2018 Walid worked as Manager in the Financial Services department - Unit Customer Banking of KPMG Germany. The next step was building the Sky Motors Group which consists of the Sky Motors GmbH (Germany) and its sister Company Sky Motors Egypt S.A.E. The Group is providing high quality configuration and restoration services to their clients in Europe and Egypt. Walid's key skills: Operational Excellence Leader, Lean Management Implantation Manager including Process Reengineering, Design and Implementation of KPIs and KRIs, Change Management, Credit Risk Assessment, Automotive Design and Lifestyle Consulting, Classic Car Services.
