I believe that education is the key to creating a more equitable and inclusive world. I have over ten years of experience working with students in various levels of education.I have a proven track record at the university level of helping students succeed academically and expand their personal and professional opportunities. I’ve worked in Enrollment Management ranging from the Registrar’s Office to Student Affairs. Most recently, I provided one-on-one academic advising to adult learners, including a large population of students using VA educational benefits, as they worked toward earning their undergraduate degrees, retaining 71% of first-year students.Prior to working in higher education, I worked with economically disadvantaged elementary students as well as post-secondary students receiving vocational education through Job Corps. I am a dedicated and results-oriented higher education professional who is passionate about making a positive impact on the world by prioritizing intersectional, anti-racist, and decolonial practices.
