This fall I will return to teaching as Debate Coach at The Woodlands High School. This is a plum opportunity for those in my field who aspire to coach champions, as The Woodlands has both a legacy of success in these activities, and the resources, institutional support, and demographic makeup to rival the best public schools in the activity. Since leaving teaching my home has been on Lake Palestine but most of my business opportunites have been in Houston or Austin. So several years ago I purchased a vintage Airstream trailer and I have stayed in at least thirty RV parks. It is my intention to develop an RV community that would both serve as a comfortable and fun vacation destination and as a safe and aesthetically desirable home for the retiree or the student or anyone else who is seeking the benefits of an RV lifestyle. And, it will be responsibly powered, with a state of the art wind turbine. Currently I am seeking the right property. I have forgone, for now, the dream of operating in the Austin/San Antonio/Hill Country area, or a property along the Gulf Coast. The property I seek must be close enough to the Woodlands to allow a reasonable commute to my primary job. It must also be beautiful and wooded. These are exciting times. My passion for young people and education has never been greater.
