About Wan Harith

I contribute to the development of strategic medical benefit policies for public servants—particularly under General Orders Chapter F (Medical)—to support Malaysia’s civil service reform agenda. As an Assistant Director at the Public Service Department (JPA), I’m also directly involved in the Sistem Saraan Perkhidmatan Awam (SSPA), aligning healthcare entitlements with public sector remuneration reform. My work ensures policy clarity, compliance, and long-term sustainability—delivering real outcomes for institutions and the workforce. I’ve contributed to enhancements that improve access and equity in medical provisions for over one million civil servants. I was honoured with the Chief Secretary to the Government Award during the 2021 Diploma in Public Administration (DPA), and received the Best Student Co-Curriculum Award at the 35th IIUM Convocation for leadership and national-level engagement. As a co-author of “Student Union: Generasi Baharu Gerakan Mahasiswa”, with YB Senator Dr. Zulkifli Hasan, Muhammad Amin Mubarak, and Idayu Mumtaz Iskandar, I contributed to thought leadership on youth reform and governance.
