About Wanda Lunika

I am a qualified Chartered Accountant with experience in Strategy, Corporate Finance, Accounting, Risk Management and Assurance amongst other things. I have worked primarily in the Financial Services industry where I started off as an Audit Associate within Financial Services where we provided accounting and assurance services to a range of banks, corporate treasuries, asset managers, investment companies and a range of other Financial Services companies. I subsequently led the transaction advisory and audit engagements on a range of these clients as a manager in the Financial Services Division, where I was promoted to Manager and later Senior Manager. I have previously worked as Financial Accountant for one of the largest hospital chain in the country. I currently work as an independent advisory specialist where I lead projects and assignments within the transaction advisory, technical accounting advisory, corporate finance and general accounting and strategy services. I also head up a newly established Venture Capital Fund with a mandate to invest in early stage businesses and start-ups in the tech space, where I assisted with the structuring and governance of the fund and sit as a board member in the portfolio companies. I am a Trustee at Nordex Education Trust and have previously served on boards of portfolio companies of the fund and also a subcommittee member of the Strategic Alliances for the African Women Chartered Accountants.
