About Wanda Scheepers
My love for education and teaching started early in my career when I was appointed as a training facilitator for one of South Africa's largest retailers in 2005. In 2010 while studying part-time for my Bachelor of Science in Microbiology and Biochemistry, I taught Mathematics for grades 4 - 6 and Life Sciences for grades 10 - 12. In 2014 to 2020 I moved on to corporate higher education where I worked amongst other things as a manager of an academy with 20 staff members and 150 online and in person students, I also completed a diploma in Project Management during this period and my interest in online learning prompted me to complete certificates in Instructional Design, Instructional Writing, Development of Outcomes Based Learning Programs and Graphic Design. As of 2020, I have experience in various LMS platforms and have created several online courses for higher education institutions as well as corporate higher education organizations.
