About Wanda Stamford

I'm passionate about the intersection of sustainability and technology particularly when it comes to improving our waste management systems (processes, data collection, and hands-on plastic recycling). Currently I am a project manager for the multi-national company Alimentation Couche-Tard working in both English and French at the global level with sustainability, and accounting process improvements as well as systems integration. In my free time, I mentor at CP3, which is plastic recycling initiative at Concordia University open to the communities of Montreal that I have co-founded during my studies. My passion lies in advocating for plastic reduction, and taking plastics out of the environment, as well as the waste stream to create new items such as the earrings I'm wearing or the beautiful plastic sheet in my background. This can take a village, so if you're also interested in the topic, please reach out and let's help each other address the plastic crisis together!
