A dynamic engineer with 20+ years of experience including working for an owner organization and major international EPC companies. Experience includes the design, technical leadership and project engineering on small and major projects. Currently hold the position of project engineer with Suncor. Engineering experience includes instrumentation & control system design, site commissioning and startup for all phases of the lifecycle of a project including conceptual, front end, detailed engineering, procurement, construction and completion. Experience with special focus on the design and review of electrical controls and instrumentation equipment, including DCS, ESD, PLC Systems, RTU and Fire & Gas Systems and PLC/DCS factory acceptance test, including wiring check, communication check, loop check and function check. High proficiency with SPI INTOOLS Executed numerous large projects ranging in size from $150 MM to over a billion dollar as well as smaller sustaining capital projects for projects primarily in oil, oil sands, refinery, petrochemicals, gas, power and water treatment plant industries. Holding a M.Eng. Electrical & Computer Engineering and a Professional Engineers certificate with APEGA.
