About Ward Verschaeve

I am a motivated and eccentric marketer, working with small businesses to ensure they’re generating leads and growing their business through Google Ads, SEO optimizations, and social media marketing. A marketing Czar, some would say. After graduating from Carleton University in June 2021, I worked with Digital Main Street as a Team Lead and Marketing Director, helping small businesses go digital through supporting their paid media and Google Ads setup and administration. I found a love for the data and numbers behind marketing over the content creation and sales. That September, I joined Business Sherpa Group as a Marketing Coordinator, focusing on content creation, blog writing, web design, SEO, and digital advertising. I was able to develop a wide berth of skills thanks to being part of a team of 2 people, most notably in paid ads and animation. Lately, I've been working with Sportball, based out of Montreal, where I moved to learn French (which I have!). Whilst at Sportball, you can find me working on SEO optimizations for their website, as well as managing their ads accounts and content calendars. I am a passionate speaker and person who likes to work with others, who likes to speak up and stand out, and who likes to try new things.
