Background

About Warren Anderson

I am a Senior Scientist with Inceptor Bio, who over the past 3 years has collaborated to build a cell therapies R and D department from scratch, training numerous young scientists in immunological backgrounds and methods, developed novel assays and company IP, and overseen the data generation to allow initiation of our first clinical trial in CAR-T cells for a solid tumor indication. Prior to my work with Inceptor, I obtained my Ph.D. from the University of Washington's Pathology department and post doctoral experience under the mentorship of Dr. David Rawlings, researching the use of gene editing in primary human cells as a platform for the interrogation of autoimmune associated gene variants. Before my graduate work, I was a member of the US National/ Olympic Rowing Team for 6 years, representing Team USA in multiple international competitions. I consistently find myself pursuing goals that push my limits, and I am passionate about discovery and sharing the beautiful complexities of the immune system with others.
