About Warren Cutler

My 6+ years of experience in the manufacturing industry ranges from small batch builds of iterative designs at a greentech startup, to supporting JIT mass production of machine vision systems at scale. I have implemented complex manufacturing processes such as ultrasonic plastic welding, with hands-on experience designing, fabricating, and assembling fixturing to improve assembly times and reduce operator-caused quality issues. I am also familiar with a variety of methodologies for predicting, addressing, and eliminating production issues, including DfMA, DFMEA, 5S, and Six Sigma. I'm passionate about continuous learning and continuous improvement, and pride myself on working collaboratively and empathetically within cross-disciplinary teams. This includes project management in the form of leading NPI builds, and developing an outsourced RMA process allowing for reclamation of up to 75% of Amazon-returned products. I am also a primarily self-taught fullstack software engineer, with experience working across TypeScript-based stacks, often employing React and CSS-in-JS (Tailwind CSS) for consistently styled, reusable, mobile-first designed components, combined with Express.js or NestJS server frameworks for efficient RESTful server functionality within a Node.js environment.
