I am a chemical engineer with more than 15 years of experience in process and project engineering. My experience includes technical and management roles in project management; conceptual, basic and detailed engineering; detailed equipment design; construction support; commissioning and startup; technology development and operations support. I have experience in the Oil and Gas, Chemicals and Sugar industries functioning as an owners engineer in technical support of operations and an EPCm engineer consulting to clients. My current role is for Worley as a Senior Project Engineer at the Johannesburg Office, managing engineering work for various project phases. My experience ranges from small plant modifications to large capital projects. I have worked in a multidiscipline environment on Brownfield and Greenfield type projects. I hold a BScEng and an MScEng in Chemical Engineering from the University of Natal. I am registered as a Professional Engineer (Pr Eng) with the Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA) and am a member of the Institute for Chemical Engineers (MIChemE). I am also certified as a Prince 2 Practitioner. My software skills include use of MS Office, MS Projects, Aspen Plus, Hysys, AFT Fathom and Arrow, HTFS and PHA Pro 8. I enjoy coaching and guiding junior engineers in developing their engineering skills and competencies.
