As apart time recruitment consultant, that vital link between clients and candidates, my role is sometimes demanding, diverse and rewarding at times: working in the Telecommunications & IT, Cyber Security Sectors, Engineering and Management related posts 202 6500) 07488241572 • Utilizing sales, business development, marketing techniques and networking to attract business from client, companies • Visiting clients to build and develop positive relationships with them and increasing companies’ client base. • Developing a good understanding of client, companies, their industry, what they do, their work culture and environment and what they are looking for in an employee. • Advertising vacancies by drafting and placing adverts in a range of media, such as websites and professional and social platforms. • Taking the lead on growth and implementation of new HR initiatives. • Working with heads of HR to build and amend and update resourcing plans and forecasts. • Exploiting social media to advertise positions, attract candidates and build relationships • Headhunting - identifying and approaching suitable candidates who may already be in work • Making use of candidate databases to match the right person to the client's vacancy • Collecting and reviewing applications, overseeing interviews and tests and creating a shortlist of candidates for the client • Taking a personal interest in every candidate, then briefing them about the responsibilities, salary and benefits of the job in question • Preparing CV’s and correspondence to forward to clients regarding suitable applicants • Organising interviews for candidates as requested by the client and ensuring that all parties have the correct information. • Informing candidates about the results of their interviews and making sure that feedback goes both ways • Offering advice to both clients and candidates on pay rates, training and career progression • Working towards and exceeding targets that may relate to the number of candidates placed, a value to be billed to clients or business leads generated • Excellent understanding of recruitment metrics, MI reporting and KPI's • Support internal resourcing helping to identify internal talent prior to external recruitment. • Have an interest in Psychometric Testing and how it can be used within larger companies • Have a good understanding of some recruitment systems, Job Adder, HR Tools - Workday, LinkedIn and played around with Jobbio. I have also worked with Salesforce.
