I am a Partner in the Personal Injury team at Stewarts I am experienced in all aspects of personal injury law, pursuing claims caused by road traffic, workplace, sports, public liability and foreign accidents. I act for claimants with spinal cord injuries, brain injuries, burns, polytrauma and amputation injuries, recovering over £95 million in damages in the last 17 years. I have particular expertise in military claims and I am the case management liaison partner for the Leeds office. Cases include; Cheung v Zhu (t/a Yang Sing Fish and Chip)[2011] EWHC 2913 (QB) Housley v Christiansen LTLPI 6/1/2010 when damages were pleaded and recovered to allow the Claimant to continue flying regularly for psychological reasons. I recently recovered £14M for a 17 year old female who sustained life changing brain injuries in a road traffic accident in 2005.
