About Warren Romer

I grew up in Bahrain, studied in India and am now pursuing PR in the UK. It’s safe to say that travelling, exploring new cultures, and embracing diverse perspectives are second nature to me. My journey so far has led to two PR courses and two PR roles across two continents which still sounds crazy but allows me to bring a unique and creative perspective to my work. I love promoting brands but still struggle to promote myself lol, but you did come here to learn more about me so here are 6 favourite things about me and my work: 1) I’ve worked on PR campaigns for some of the world’s most recognisable brands. From TP-Link and Creative to Sprite, Coca-Cola, Starbucks, TransUnion CIBIL, and Bacardi, I’ve secured media placements, organised briefings, and led successful product reviews in Tier 1 national and trade publications across tech, consumer, BFSI, and F&B sectors. 2.) I always keep an ear out for new PR innovations and love attending industry events like People Like Us to network and learn about the amazing work being done to shape comms in the UK. If there’s a way to secure a top feature, connect with a key journalist, or improve how I operate, I’m on it. Building media relationships and securing coverage are two of my biggest strengths. 3) I didn’t fall into PR in the usual way. With a background in Sociology and Psychology, I started in events and experiential marketing. A few networking events later, I found my calling in PR. I think its my experience across different industries though that gives me the creative edge to help brands shine. 4) My love for PR has grown from watching brands like Red Bull push the limits of PR to engage audiences. The Red Bull Stratos Jump is hands down my favourite campaign of all time and one of my key inspirations for pursuing PR as a career. 5) This one's risky to admit but I'm a die-hard MUFC fan (cue the groans) I’m so obsessed with football that I started a blog covering trends developments and insights in the sport. I haven’t made it public yet, but who knows? One day, I just might! I've also worked with Swansea City FC Supporters Trust, upskilling the team in social media platforms and strategies, 6) If I weren’t in PR, I’d probably be a musician. Random, right? But I love beatboxing, and what started as a hobby turned into a side gig performing at corporate events, national competitions, and music festivals like Swansea Fringe; also featured on MTV Beats, subtle flex. It's back to being a hobby now, but it doesn’t matter, I still love it!
