PRM at OK mountain helicopters. My Initial interest in Aviation was peaked at a very young age, when I was 8 years old we lived in Manning Alberta and at the end of our street was the forestry base that included a Helipad. If I heard a Helicopter coming I would race to the fence to watch it land or take-off. My Interest never waned over the years as I Trained for and received my Private Pilot License at Springbank Airport. A forced landing due to engine failure determined my next path in Aviation which was to attend & successfully complete the Aircraft Maintenance Engineers Technology program (AME) Diploma program in Calgary at the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT) in 1992 and have followed a fulfilling career path since this time in numerous AME roles. These roles included both domestic & International postings in Helicopter Operations. My more recent Contracting roles have been on various Fixed wing commercial Aircraft & Military Aircraft. I leveraged my Aviation Career to start a Manufacturing company in 2011 producing Industrial 3d Printers. This experience was a major turning point in my career as a precursor to understanding management/business LEAN initiatives change management and supply chain management. Since 2016 and failure to manage my own company (due to inability to hear what my employees and customers needed) I have spent 6 years studying and improving communication skills. If you are reading this I have achieved my goal.
