About Warren Scherer
I’m a Retired Army First Sergeant and I’ve spent 15 years faithfully serving our country as well as the young men and women that I’ve had the privilege to work with. I have multiple combat tours to the Middle East, with my background being military intelligence. Since my retirement from the military, I have worked in the oil and gas field for over 10 years. I’ve been an active member of our Emergency Response teams as an EMT and Rope Rescue Technician. I miss being able to serve our nation’s greatest asset, our Veterans. I want to continue to impact the lives of our service men and women in a positive manner. I understand the struggles that our veterans face on a daily basis, and I would like to work to effect change and make my community stronger and more resilient. I've also started my own local Veteran’s and first responder support group to combat PTSD and improve Suicide Awareness.
