About Warren Scoffin

I came into the railway at 17 years of age and have been with Carillion up until liquidation (2018). I started off as a junior project engineer, not knowing anything about the railway what so ever for the OLE division. Throughout these years I built knowledge of components, railway knowledge, and many more things. I then got progression into the planning side as an assistant planner for various projects. OLE mainly but then I was taken onto the level crossing framework (Infrasig) where I started with multi-discipline planning. This gave me knowledge of how everyone works, who would need to access the railway first, what would stop other people from doing their job etc. I then was given a planning and possession planner for my last 5 years with Carillion. Through this also I monitored all the 019 updates, the PDSW role out. I have also held many competencies through my years but sadly lost everything through redundancy. I have worked in a very close team throughout my years and have met some great people but I can also work as an individual. I like to work as safely as possible and stick to standards set out.
