Over the course of my photography journey, I have relentlessly pursued excellence in capturing the essence of individuals through portraiture. Inspired by renowned photographers such as Manny Ortiz, Julia Trotti, and Lindsay Adler, I have diligently studied and implemented their techniques to create my own visually stunning style of portraits that evoke emotions and tell captivating stories. Natural light photography was the foundation of my artistic development. In studying Julia Trotti, I experimented with the artful use of golden hour, blue/magic hour, and even challenging conditions like harsh noon lighting. In doing so creative work in natural light has become second nature to me. I have embraced the ever-changing qualities of natural light, harnessing its power to infuse my images with warmth, depth, and a sense of ethereal beauty. By immersing myself in the intricacies of light, I have cultivated an intuitive understanding of how it interacts with the human form, allowing me to create visually compelling portraits. However, my passion for photography extends far beyond natural light. Over the years, I have dedicated myself to mastering the art of studio photography, particularly in the realm of strobes and gels. Inspired by the work of Manny Ortiz and Lindsay Adler, I have delved into the world of artificial lighting, experimenting with various lighting setups, modifiers, and techniques. The interplay of color and light has become a fascination for me, as I strive to craft portraits that not only capture the subject's essence but also create a vivid visual experience.
