About Warren Williams

I have over 50-years experience in broadcast journalism, video production, and public/media relations. I've been a television anchor and/or reporter in several markets: Memphis; Dallas; Detroit; San Diego; Buffalo; Columbus, OH; Jackson, Mississippi and my hometown of Lansing, MI. During the mid 90's, I was appointed to serve as the head of public information and chief spokesman for the Michigan Department of Corrections. In the political arena - I've been the communications director for a congressional campaign, a race for the Michigan state senate, and was the manager of a mayoral campaign. In addition, I've been a columnist for the Detroit News politics weblog, and written political commentary for two professional Facebook pages which I manage. Since 2008, I've been serving as the off-site Director of Communications for Arlington, Texas-based 'Round The Clock Entertainment'(RTC)- a promotions and management firm for entertainment industry talent. In that capacity, I've been responsible for writing news releases and feature articles on musicians, singers and actors managed by RTC for placement in publications across America and throughout the Caribbean. In addition, I've produced many of RTC's commercial spots for television and radio. Currently, I operate a video production and public/media relations firm, begun in Columbus, OH, relocated to Detroit, MI, called "The Write Stuff."​ I offer a range of video/audio production services including, but not limited to - writing, producing, and editing commercials for TV, including corporate training/marketing videos and political campaign ads. In addition, I provide counsel in Crisis Communications. For non-commercial clients, I offer video services for weddings, memorial tributes, birthday & retirement parties - most anything for which quality video production is needed or desired. The Write Stuff also provides a full range of Public/Media Relations services including press releases and crisis communications consulting.
