About Warwick Savvas

I am a consummate technical and design lead with more than 25 years’ experience. Currently I am senior associate with a globally positioned multidisciplinary design consultancy practice. Currently I manage a team of more than 50 designers working on a broad range of projects, ranging from from transport infrastructure, medium and high density residential developments, civic and public realm, and university campus precincts, through to open space, ecological design, and regional tourism. In addition to this, I have an internationally recognized reputation as an industry leader and knowledge figure in green infrastructure, and the technical aspects of in landscape architecture, architecture, civil and structural engineering, irrigation, hydraulic design, ecological design and sustainability. I have a proven ability to effectively lead multi-disciplinary teams; delivering quality project outcomes, on time, to budget, and exceeding client expectations. I have been involved in, and directly responsible for some of Australia’s largest infrastructure projects from bid phase to project delivery and completion of construction works. This has included winning bid designs, detailed documentation, compliance with State Government performance requirements, as well as on site supervision and completions of construction phases. I have also been involved in successful bid-winning teams on projects operating across inner-city, urban, and regional areas from major water, road, and rail infrastructure, civic spaces, university campuses, to multi-unit residential developments. I develop and deliver training and knowledge sharing programs across our Australian and global studios in technical design, sustainability, and quality management.
