Imagine walking into a room flooded by a leaking faucet. Resolving the issue requires two actions—fixing the faucet to stop the leak (mitigation) and mopping the floor to address the damage (adaptation). Yet, if the leak persists, deeper questions must be asked: What systemic failures allowed the faucet to break? What habits or norms led to neglect? Addressing symptoms alone—reacting without reflection—perpetuates cycles of climate change crises. As a strategist, I champion regenerative practices for emission reduction and equity-driven resilience in climate adaptation, advancing solutions through strategic policy oversight. Current Project - FARMAES (Pronounced as FARMERS) The Food and Agriculture Resilience through Multifunctional Agroforestry and Ecological Systems (FARMAES) initiative, led by the Alliance for Positive Environmental Impacts and Reforestation is dedicated to fostering sustainable farming systems in Nigeria. By integrating agroforestry and agroecology practices, FARMAES aims to combat poverty, restore degraded environments, and mitigate the impacts of climate change, while enhancing resilience in agricultural communities.
