About Wayne Ackman

My current position is the Senior Database Administrator with a mortgage-processing firm Financial Dimensions for the past seven years supporting SQL 2005, 2008 R2 instances and preliminary migration to SQL 2012 in Pittsburgh, PA. Previous positions I have held as a member of the database administration team in the SEO Internet industry with the IMPAQT Corporation using SQL 2008 R2 providing SSRS development support and SSIS package development. I hold an MCTS as a Microsoft DBA and currently provide development support with (SSRS) reporting services, crystal reporting, developing ETL processes and various (SSIS) packages and experience with developing XML transactions with windows/web applications. My experience also includes data warehousing, mining and analysis for litigation, linguistics, GIS spatial applications and business/accounting related reporting. Specialties: Throughout my career, I have strived professionally to maintain an internal motivation and ability to embrace the overall scope of a given challenge, ability to apply my experience from many areas and familiarity of various software capabilities, which affords me to recognize the inter-relationship between those situations and develop a viable solution. Systematically dissect a situation, and apply critical thinking out-of-the-box to meet a challenge, enabling me to develop a resourceful and common sense solution to that problem and manage the implementation of that challenge.
